Trey McClain is a 2022 Graduate of the College of Arkansas for Healthcare Sciences in Tiny Rock. His hometown is Mayflower, and he is a 2014 graduate of the College of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Conway Regional obtained accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Health-related Instruction (ACGME) for their Household Drugs Residency program in January of 2020.
